Meet Heather
Problem Solver, Strategist, Leader, Generalist, Serial Fixer, Privacy Geek… these are all words that have been used to describe me.
Really, they are a way to help describe the various experiences I've had over my career. I'm privileged to have worked with incredibly dedicated people in every region of Canada, towards important causes including strengthening Canada's North, providing access to education, fighting climate change by supporting ground breaking research and promoting the value and strength of Canada's universities.
My role in this work has been to lead initiatives that strengthen these organizations' operational base, so they are working as effectively as possible towards their strategic goals.
With a broad background and nearly twenty years leading projects in strategy, operations, privacy, IT, governance and programs, I have the experience and skills to help your organization flourish. I am a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Canada) and a Certified Information Privacy Technologist and work to build strong privacy practices into day-to-day operations.
I understand the challenges a small organization can face, but I also know the commitment and perseverance found in these organizations and what can be accomplished with just a spark of inspiration.
