Philosophy

Running a small organization means doing a lot with a little — real constraints, a small team, no shortage of responsibility resting on you. What's usually missing isn't effort or talent. It's the time to step back and look at the whole picture.

A strong foundation comes down to three things working together: a strategy, the operations built to carry it, and the privacy, governance, and risk practices meant to protect it. More often than not, one of them is missing, disconnected from the others, or bolted on as an afterthought. A strategy without the operations to execute it stays a plan on paper. Operations without a strategy behind them just help you move faster in an unclear direction. And neither holds up if the risks around your data and technology aren't accounted for along the way.

That dependency has only gotten deeper. Technology — and now AI — isn't a separate system sitting off to the side anymore; it's woven into how the whole organization runs. A new tool adopted without thinking through operations, governance, and risk together doesn't solve a problem. It just adds a new one to manage later.

Most of my work happens in the operations, because that's where the rest actually shows up — where a strategy becomes real or stays a document, where privacy, governance, and risk get built in or bolted on too late. But I'm always looking at the whole ecosystem, not just the piece in front of me.

That's the belief behind everything I do: closing the gap between where you want to go and what your systems can currently support.

What drives my work

Clarity

Every organization needs a direction the whole team actually understands. I believe in transparent, accessible planning, where each person can see how their work connects to where you're going.

Intentional operations

Day-to-day work should be intentional, not just busy: aligned with your goals, respectful of your team's time, and making full use of what you already have before reaching for something new.

Right-sized, sustainable solutions

Quick fixes rarely hold up, and neither does a solution built for an organization twice your size. I build things that fit you, and that actually last.

Trust through transparency

Trust isn't automatic — it's built through clear decisions and follow-through people can see. I help translate the rules that apply to you into a realistic, honest path forward.

Empathy first

I start by understanding your context and constraints, not applying a template built for someone else. The right solution depends on who you actually are.
